I am not much of a detective and reading penguins reply it is very logical one dead villager or we hit the three wolves so i will vote cockroach.I still think our mayor has something to hide I VOTE COCKROACH

Dawn breaks and to the horror of all, they are greeted by the bloodied corpse of Mockingjay, her butterfly net lying next to her in the square. Was she so stoned that she wandered outside to meet a horrific end? we shall probably never know. Fluffy seems to think so though as she weeps and mourns at the passing of her sweet friend.
"YOU!" she shrieks at Meustrus, "This is your fault! you and that silly wand of yours..."
"Rest-a-rex," said Meustrus, frantically shaking his wand, "Arrest - a rect....no.....resurr-est-urem???.....no.....resurrect-a-rex?
Far out in the pasture to the west of the village a crack appeared, and the earth shook like a mini earthquake. A huge set of jaws with a correspondingly huge set of teeth emerged from the ground.
"In heaven's name, what on earth have you done now?" shrieked Fluffy as she batted him round the ear. "One thing's for sure, if the werewolves don't get us....if it's not death by werewolf, then it's bound to be death by this Moron!"
Courageous cockroach, Dragonslayer, and Bubblegumfrog quickly ran to the blacksmiths armory for weapons. By this time the creature had wriggled almost free from the earth and having spotted the villagers, was eyeing them hungrily.
"Look's like a Tyrannosaurus rex," commented the blacksmith, "There should be a law against fools like that idiot over there owning a wand!" He gestured towards Meustrus. "Anyhow you just go help yourself....if you like, you're welcome to try out one of my inventions"
Courageouscockroach and Bubblegumfrog had both already selected swords and shields, and had run towards the monster as the townsfolk ran inside screaming at the charging beast. Dragonslayer however liked the look of a strange contraption and had a quick lesson from the blacksmith / armourer on how to use it and what it did"
"Awesome!" said Dragonslayer, "Have you actually tested it yet?"
"Yep....kills everything stone dead...like instantly!" said the blacksmith, I call it a machine gun...you're gonna love it...it's a great choice."
"There was a hideous scream which filled the air, and they turned to see the creature grab Bubblegumfrog in its huge jaws and begin to chew. Dragonslayer let rip with the weapon, cutting the monster to pieces, and as sure as they were sure it was completely safe, Dragonfly came running to tend Bubblegumfrogs wounds.
"I think he'll live, she said at last, but he will be unable to move, talk, or communicate with anyone for at least 3 or 4 days."
A loud voice was heard overhead, one they knew to be that of the all powerful narrator - The Puppetmaster.
"Shall we say that Bubblegumfrog may not participate in this game until this next day phase is over. In his current condition, it would be impossible to participate in any way shape or form, be it posting, voting, or contacting team mates. He needs rest to recover from his wounds...... Take him now somewhere safe and the rest of you should go immediately to the town hall to discuss the situation."
The day phase has begun and will last until Monday 7th April at 9pm GMT

WHAAAAT!!!!! NOT MOCKINGJAY!!!!What on earth did that dear sweet fairy do to deserve this?? She was the only person in this village that has ever said anything nice about me - I had hoped I had made my first friend!! Maybe we could have gone to the bakery and shared some of the sweet pastries I smell being baked every morning (but not those tuna sandwiches - that's just wrong!!), and she might have carried me around the village in a fishbowl, showed me how to catch butterflies.......... but now, here I am resigned to be 'Lonely McGills' for the rest of my days  I don't understand the wolf logic behind this decision - but I do know that I need to work very hard to hold back my tears - I'm a freshwater fish!!!!!WAA-AAA-AAA-AAA-AA-AAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!

LOL maybe start with something simple, like an herb and crystal ward  |

Could it be..... a friend?? *gives tail an excited swish* Okay then, let's see what that spell of yours can do!  *borrows meustrus' wand* HUMIDICUS DESERTUS!! <A LIGHT RAIN FALLS OVER THE VILLAGE OF ASHTON> lol - it's a start, though maybe I'll stick to my fishbowl for a while - just in case. In the meantime - here's another gobstopper to say thanks for lending me your wand I did have another idea to put to the village..... we DO have need to identify some wolves - and, well, I am a genetic researcher. Maybe some DNA tests would speed up the process?? I would need a sample from everyone in the village, and a comparison sample from the werewolf, maybe they left some traces on Mr Yeats or mockingjay that would work?? Anyone care to help a little fishy out and provide/fetch me some DNA cells?.... |

well everyone is v quiet this game with no murder tables from meustrus or essays ofpossible guilt from dragonslayer or bubblegumfrog although bubbles has an excuse (the puppetmaster strikes again).... This being the case how am i supposed to have any hope of voting off a wolf?  ? |

Fluffy makes a valid point, and I for one think we have already lost too many innocents!! The best way that I can think of to catch a wolf is either cool logic, or to catch them in a lie! So in the spirit of trying to find the big bad - (because there has been little discussion recently, I only have what has been made available by narrator and available conversation)
I invite and encourage clarification if anything here can be proven/disproven!! We've got wolves to hunt, and I plan on keeping my fishy self in one unmunched piece!
To explain my vote for riverdancepenguin - everything about her post screamed WOLF to me!! Point out the most obvious likely villagers, decide to vote one of them off, declare that we should all do the same, and anyone who indicates there is anything fishy about it will be accused of 'Wolfery of the highest order'. Nothing about it smacked of a smart village defence at the time. Obviously now in light of the fact that she is a proven villager (albeit too late) I have some voters regret, but given the information available, I still think my reasoning was in the right place - even if my vote was not!
I am also going to take the Jeremy Kyle approach to my request - anyone who decided not to willingly submit to DNA testing likely has something to hide!! LOL
