Ok, so this is how this works. I will be introducing new things into the game as time goes on so it is constantly evolving and you don't get bored. For example: a silver bullet, wolfsbane, guardian angel card, resurrection potion and so on. Item | item description | rules | silver bullet | kills the wolf that kills you | If you win one during a game, it won't come into play until the next game. You need to make a decision as to whether you will be using it or not before the game starts | wolfsbane | wards off 1 wolf attack - i.e. makes one wolf attack null and void | It only works once, if the wolves attack again, you will die! As with all special items, if you win one of these during a game, it won't come into play until the next game. You need to make a decision as to whether you will be using it or not before the game starts. | Guardian angel card | a card which summons a guardian angel to protect 1 player (not yourself) for 3 turns during a game. | Rules for all special items apply - and this card can only be used by a villager or blue role to protect a blue role or villager. It can be used for 3 x different players, or to protect the same player x 3 times. You cannot use this for yourself. If this card or the demon wolf card is played, it will not be specified which is in play, the narrator will simply note that a protection card has been used this time round for *insert name of player*
| demon wolf card | a card which summons a guardian demon to protect 1 wolf for 1 turn during a game
| Rules for all special items apply - and this card can be used by a wolf to protect itself or to protect a team-mate for 1 turn. If this card or the Angel card is used, it will NOT be specified which has been used...the narrator will simply state that a protection card has been used for *insert name of player* |

So a couple of ideas for other items as per discussion with Tiger. The notion is to award a special item to the winning team at the end of each game. So - would you prefer your narrators to chose an item from the existing list of goodies? or would you like a VICTORY ONLY prize? (can only be earned for winning the game) Ideas for prizes include: PHOENIX FEATHER, can only be used once to resurrect any deceased player in one game. <later addition - can be used at a time of players choosing - so any stage of day or night phase, either openly or anonymously via narrator. Super versatile power-up> DETECTIVE KIT, can only be used once, at the beginning of a game. When used the narrator will provide the owner of the kit with one clue to the identity of one wolf. The narrator will chose how clear or vague it will be, but it could help the villagers to make or break a game early on. I'm open to more suggestions - or to see what thoughts are about these ones. Also to be considered - will this victory prize be awarded to all members of the winning side, or would it be best awarded to only the surviving winners ( I like survivors - but the vote is open all )

some quick thoughts....re survivors only.....
in the past I have sacrificed myself, I.e deliberately set out to get myself killed off as a blue role so I could out the number of wolves or the identity of the wolves in my death post.....since by doings i effectively won the game for the villagers...it seems kind of unfair that i wouldnt get a prize under the survivors only rule.
I think we should maybe save the detective kit idea for a game with more players, and more wolves.....like a master werewolf game, where you start with 2 wolves and maybe 20 players, but each night instead of the werewolves killing off someone, they bite someone instead and turn them into a werewolf. When they have the majority they win. Then the wolves could choose the most suspected wolf to be sacrificed.
The pheonix feather would work well in this scenario too as well as in a normal game...essentially like wolfsbane it gives the villager another turn.
I wonder if we could just add them to the current list and take a vote at the beginning of each game to decide which special item will be the prize for the winners?
I might change the angel card so it can only be used for one turn like the demon card, and if i made it so you can only use it for yourself, it will make it harder for people as they will have to build up their inventories in order to protect their identity.
To that end I wonder how folk feel about games / competitions in between games in which you can win special items to build up your inventory?
