I wondered if you wanted fixed characters for the game? Or if it wouldn't be better to have the chance to explore different roles each time? I've devised a couple of lists, one mandatory and one optional (which can both be added to over time), for players to choose a character from for whatever game is pending or in progress. Please post to add suggestions to the lists.

Also - A few have already voted to choose your own role on a first come first served basis when you sign up for the game, so I have already begun to assign roles for the first game...hurry and choose what you want, before it is taken. If you don't see anything you fancy, then invent something for yourself and I will add it to the list!

It might be better if we choose first come first served. That way we know we have a character we can play. For example, I don't know if I could play a hunter or a warrior, anything else would be fine (I would try of course but I don't know much about weapons).
That being said I'd be perfectly fine with you assigning us roles but maybe we could each have a small list of things we wouldn't want to be… just an idea. If we are picking I'd like to be the Doctor first time around.

Question: can a robot become a werewolf? I'm not sure how that would work. But I'm intrigued by conflict by the combination I would like:
Magic store owner (robot)
Maybe a robot could become a werewolf with magic? Sure, let's go with that so I'm not just obviously safe.

LMAO To be honest, i really didnt think that one through did I? but I don't see why a robot magic store owner can't become a werewolf robot! Though for the first game I'm trying to keep the game simple for the new players, so the werewolves will just be killing folk / robots off.
(Perhaps we should add a potion for that to the special items list for next time round! I'm sure we'll hit a few of these glitches before we have a formula for the game which is 100% reasonable / possible.
Also we could develop the robot idea later on - when we have more players I intend to introduce a master werewolf so that every night there can either be a death or a villager can be turned into a werewolf.

The ones that are crossed out have already been taken. If you don't see something you fancy, then by all means, make something up! I am happy to add new job descriptions to the list. |
